Over 200 meters of LED strip lights had to be laid in gaps in the walls and exhibit displays. The lighting was controlled so that it flowed seamlessly with no breaks across the transition points between one element and the next. The final effect for the observer was a blue light running across the whole stand at an even speed and in a straight line.
Combining Bosch's own stand construction system with the conventional system that was also used presented a particular challenge, especially at the junction points and on the upper level.
Bosch Junkers showed how easy networking makes the installation, use and advanced operation of its thermotechnology products. With SMART HOME, digitization is accessible to everyone.
The stand included an XXL figure by 3D Culture, which was commissioned by the agency Schaller & Partner, Mannheim, to be specially made by 3D Culture for the BOSCH/Junkers stand. Its height of more than 5 meters including the pedestal alone was hugely impressive, and its integration in the overall presentation of the stand with state-of-the-art LED technology was achieved to perfection. The figure featured a 3D printed arm made entirely of translucent material containing hundreds of LED lights which were dynamically operated by a controller.
